The newest things in the store right now are AMAZING. We now have these awesome flasks, cigarette holders, business card holders, patches, and a couple pretty cool signs.  All of these products are designed well, with retro flare! The pictures on each item make you want to buy one in each color! Being a fan of vintage and retro fashion and way of life, I feel like these products were made for me, and I know that if you saw them, you'd feel the exact same way! So come check them out while we've got them, and don't forget your wallet! ;) 

This week, I chose to put our books as my choice for the staff pick. Our books at the store range from learning how to use crystals and herbs to how-to books on candles, akashic records, and more recently, even books on reiki! Some of our books are written by our very own Jacki Smith and Patty Shaw! If that's not reason enough to come check them out, I don't know what is! We have a wonderful selection of books here at the Candle Wick Shoppe, and I recommend everyone that can to come check out this great collection!

This week I chose the evil eyes to put on special. I think these are a lovely addition to any home because they don't have a negative. Everything about them exudes positive energy. The evil eyes are used for protection among many cultures, but mainly the Middle East. They are said to protect against the evil or envious glares that are given when a person is not aware. Not only are they used to protect, but they are a beautiful thing to own!

Hey, guys! Just letting you all know that we have an abundance of new jewelry in store right now. We have pretty much any pendant that your little heart desires. My personal new favorites are the Celtic Designs. Or the Amulets. Or the Basic brand. Okay. so maybe I can't choose a favorite... That just means I'll have to buy them all! Come in, take a look, and maybe go home with a new necklace!

Time for another staff pick! What I have for you all this time around are... *drumroll* ... OUR NEW SPRAYS! We have assorted sprays for pretty much whatever you need. Each one has a super fun name and a ton of magic! We have Karma Kleaner, Open Sesame, Gimme Shelter, Magnetism, Witch's Purse, RELAX!, and last, but certainly not least, Good Fortune. They come in ^little green bottles, but they make a BIG difference. Try them once, and you'll be addicted. It's time to get the bad karma out and clear the paths ahead! You can protect yourself, your home, your car, friends and family with Gimme Shelter. Attract that person that has their eye on you! Start the money draw with Witch's Purse. Get to sleep or calm down with RELAX!. And get the Good Fortune you need with the Good Fortune Dragon's Blood spray. You can pretty much spray these wherever you want, or need to. And at 15% off, how could you resist?! 

Okay, guys. This is how it goes. I get to tell you what my favorite thing in the store right now is. Ready? Alright, my staff pick is the Cleo Mae candle! I chose this candle because it's all about empowerment and attraction. This candle will help any woman succeed in domination. Not only will it give you power, but combine that with a high-powered attractant and you've got it made! Just be careful, though. You might get more power than you're ready for! You may just want to use it in small doses. Either way, get ready, because here you come!

Loads of people know about Santa Muerte, but not many know what she actually stands for. Most people hear that Santa Muerte is the Saint of death and are immediately turned off. Then they ask questions like, "Well then why do you have her on your altar?" or "So you can try to kill people with her?". I hope to show those people that it's not what they think. Santa Muerte is the Saint of death, yes, but she also represents so much more than that, which is why we have her on our store altar. She stands for healing, protection, and safety when travelling into the afterlife. Santa Muerte also gives you assistance, and grants your prayers, when given something in return, such as alcohol, candy, coins, etc.. So all in all, If used the right way, she's a pretty good Saint. She does a really great job protecting our store, so next time you come in, remember that she's not as scary as she sounds.
