Jacki Smith is one of my most important rol models. As someone who aspires to be an entreprenuer in the magical and spiritual communiity, she is a great person to watch and learn from. Her motivation and ambition is inspirational. I can feel her powerful magic before she arrives just to say "Hi!" and check on the store. She is very dedicated to her craft and business,  and that makes you feel protected, nurtured and included. I can only dream to be as successful and icredible as Jacki Smith. I would love to thank her for allowing me to be part of the Candle Wick Shoppe family and wish her a Fantastic Month of Jacki!

I didn’t know Jacki before I started working here at the Candle Wick Shoppe. Even as a customer, I was unaware of this magnificent lady.  Working with Jacki has been filled with a wealth of priceless information. I had the great opportunity to work with Jacki a bit to help set up the Mojo Bar. Her process is an amazing thing to witness!  Then she trained me in the process of assisting customers with creating a Mojo Bag or Conjure Jar for their needs was nothing short of amazing.

 Jacki is extremely empowering, uplifting, and humble.   She celebrates other's successes, which is a fantastic thing to witness. Jacki's dedication to being of service to others, assisting them in manifesting their intentions is, yet, another great example of the type of woman she is. Not only has she enhanced my conjuring and magical life, but her example of service to others through love has

deepened my desire to be of further service to others.

We've expanded on our custom mojo bags! Here at Candle Wick, we're always coming up with new concoctions for you to carry for whatever it is you need, and we've done so again by adding on five new mojo bags to the ones we sell here in the shop.

Calming: This herbal combination is to help you if the day-to-day stresses are becoming too much. Carry it close to you, in your pocket or around your neck, and let the soothing energy wash over you.

Hello, all! I've been on a writing kick for the last few days, and when my creative gears start moving, they usually start with my mojo bag creations. Here are a few unique mojo bag ideas I've been working with based on the herbs we have in the Candle Wick Shoppe. If you're wondering if we have herbs that could help you with what you are working on, or that focus on something specific, please feel free to contact us on facebook with your questions.

A Dream Mojo Bag: Add wormwood to this mojo bag for prophetic dreams.

• Chamomile: Draws you into a peaceful sleep.
• Mullein: Use to keep away nightmares. 
• Rosemary: The herb of remembrance; using this will help you to remember your dreams.
• Sage: Will create more vivid dreams.
• Amethyst: For intuition and wisdom; will assist you with understanding your dreams.

For Studying/Tests: 

• Vervain: Assists one with retaining knowledge.
• Calendula: Add this to your mojo bag for a little bit of positive energy; studying tends to create a lot of stressful energy, and you want to counter that. The herb also helps one to concentrate. 
• Scullcap: Promotes peace and relaxation.
• Bay Leaf (ground): Add a little bit of ground bay leaf for success in your endeavors.
• Mahogany Obsidian: The finishing touch; add this for grounding and concentration.

Here at the Candle Wick Shoppe, we have our lovely ready made mini Mojo bags ready to grab and go. However, what if we don't carry a bag that suits your needs? Maybe you just want to create your own version of what we have. Well friend, you're in luck. I'm going to tell you what to do to create your own Mojo bag.

All a Mojo bag really is is a bag of herbs, oils, and stones that are mixed together and empowered with the intention and energy of the maker for a specific use. You want to use a fabric in the color of your intention, along with herbs, oils and stones with the same intention. As you mix the herbs, oils, and stones together, you want to envision your intent and imagine your energy is flowing from your hands into the mixture. Feel free to light candles, invoke spirits/gods/ancestors/protectors as you are creating your own little magical pouch. This is your ritual, so please customize it to suit your needs and personal beliefs.

If you have been following my blogs, then you already know what I am going to say. That's right kiddies. These little gems are able to be customized to you. I always recommend doing your research on the herbs, oils, and stones you intend on using. We here at the Candle Wick Shoppe have an amazing selection to choose from, but you may be surprised at what you can find in your own back yard. 

When I began learning about herbs and their metaphysical properties my favorite way to use them was in Mojo Bags and pouches. Creating Mojo Bags is one of the most fun and simplest ways to use herbs for whatever it is that you need. Depending on what you're trying to accomplish, where you have your Mojo Bag is very important. Carry a Money Draw bag in your purse to help you attract prosperity and money-making opportunities, and keep a Protection bag in the glove compartment of your car when you drive (I find this gives me a bit of peace of mind). Or if you're trying to attract that special someone carry a Love bag in your pocket the next time you go out for a night on the town.
